Tom Currie is a double BAFTA nominated, multi RTS, Grierson, Rose D’Or, Broadcast and multi Bulldog Award-winning programme maker responsible for a variety of highly acclaimed series and singles including The Great Rhino Robbery (Sky Documentaries), Leigh-Anne: Race, Pop & Power (BBC One/Three), Educating Greater Manchester (C4), Ambulance (BBC One), Life and Birth (BBC One), the first two series of Hospital (BBC Two), the first series of The Real Marigold Hotel (BBC Two), and the first series of Rookies (NETFLIX/ITV1), An Hour To Save Your Life (BBC Two) as well as The Fulfords: Life Is Toff (BBC Three).

 

He is known for steering complex first series, reimagining returning brands as well as dealing with complex access and projects with sensitive compliance issues.

 

Tom is currently a staff Executive Producer at BBC Studios Documentary Unit.
